Skeena Resources Ltd. (TSXV:SKE) announced results from its 2016 drill campaign at its Spectrum-GJ project in British Columbia. In total 8 holes were drilled at the GJ Donnelly deposit, extending the zone to depth and returning a weighted average grade of 0.45 g/t Au, 1.98 g/t Ag and 0.28% Cu over an average width of 53.8m. The results compare favorably to the current resource grade of 0.35 g/t Au and 0.30% Cu (all categories). At Spectrum, 24 holes were drilled, including initial holes at the South Copper and West Creek targets. While the weighted average grade of 0.57 g/t Au and 12% Cu over an average width of 62m was below the current resource grade (3.08 g/t Au and 0.11% Cu – all categories), we are encouraged by the broad areas of mineralization intersected, including S16-095 that returned 0.79 g/t Au and 0.12% Cu over 224.9m. The results expanded the Spectrum deposit to the West. The company also announced that it has begun a PEA for the combined Spectrum-GJ project, the results of which are expected to be released in Q2 2017. read more
Skeena Resources Ltd. (TSXV:SKE) announced final drill results from the recently completed 7,180m, 28 hole, drill program at its Snip property in British Columbia. The results confirmed the existence of the 200m Footwall zone and identified two other high-grade zones. All three zones are located outside of historic mining areas, suggesting a new resource is likely to be defined at this historic project. This further supports our view that Snip’s potential is not included in the market’s valuation of Skeena which currently trades at a significant discount to peers. read more

Skeena Resources Ltd. (TSXV:SKE) announced drill results from six holes from its ongoing 6,000m drill program at its Snip property in British Columbia. Results were highlighted by 16.01 g/t Au over 4.7m (S-16-11) and 47 g/t over 0.7m (S-16-10). These results along with those recently released suggest that the previous operators may have left additional high-grade gold structures unmined. Skeena expects to complete the work commitment portion of its earn-in by the end of October, at which point the company expects to begin drilling from the existing underground workings. In our view, Skeena’s current valuation is only reflective of its Spectrum and GJ properties and does not appear to account for Snip’s potential or the recent acquisition of the Porter Idaho Silver project. read more
